Norman Steiner has spent almost three decades practicing law. Before founding The Steiner Law Firm, he built a career in demanding courtroom environments. Born in the Bronx, Norm later served in the Israeli Defense Forces, an experience that helped shape his toughness, discipline, and ability to perform under pressure. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture in Brooklyn before graduating from New York Law School.

Norm began his legal career with the Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Defense Department in Manhattan. As a public defender, he represented people facing serious consequences and learned the craft of trial work in real courtrooms, under real pressure. He rose to become a Senior Trial Attorney and Trial Trainer, helping other lawyers develop the skills needed to advocate effectively.

That background remains central to who he is as a lawyer.
